In January 2015, Elliot Weir embarked on a journey to Costa Rica, and was touched by the sheer amount of amazing animals in the rainforest there. Visiting 'Projecto ASIS', a small organisation that helps rehabilitate confiscated animals damaged by wildlife crime, and lucky to be alive. There needs to be a global awareness for this cruel industry that destroys the environment, nature, and also the culture and customs of the local people and most of the problem is people buy exotic pets or traditional medicine and we, the people, have the responsibility to convince them not to and shut down the world's 4th largest illegal industry.
